Yeah, and there just happened to be a video camera turned on during this particular time, and she didn't care about that.

There are dead 360's littering every house these days. Seeing one getting smashed isn't shocking anymore because we know it's probably a dud. At least they went to the trouble of making the screen cut out so it kinda seemed real.

And can you say you've never known anyone to rig a camera when their going to do a prank on someone else, I say that it's legitimate. Or that was VERY well scripted, even going down to the point that the chars moved exactly when it looked like they were holding the controller, and didn't when they/she was yelling at him.

Even if it is fake, they still get an A+ for effort.

Hands up who thinks it's staged!

+1

She was a cliche in a thousand an one ways, he was a shithouse actor who could have at least pretended like he gave a crap when she threw the thing, no one has ever been able to remove the power cord THAT easy (not that it looks like she did at all) and the entire camera placement was far too perfect for the entire thing.

And being fake, they get a -E for wasting my time when they could have used their mad acting skills to film something constructive.

Dude, it took 2 seconds to follow the links back to YouTube and the author to find that it's from his collection of internet skits. There's a bunch of them.

LINK

So I have to retract my statement about him filming something constructive. It's a small piece of a bigger project.

Bah, gimme a break on my day off!!

We must just have different opinions on the actions and reactions of people. Up here I would find that a pretty standard spaz attack on her part, and to me it looked as if he was just sitting there in disbelief, which i've seen the same reaction myself before. Another thing i've never really understood, is that why everyone must have these big overdrawn reactions to everything, what was he meant to do? Stand up and slap her? Start crying? I personally find it's the much smaller and more subtle things that give you a better understanding to a person's reaction - And in all honesty, more believing.

And for the record, I HAVE seen a power cord come out very easily.

My main point for thinking it was really is that there is a knife directly in front of the camera, giving the impression that he was intentionally being an ass, after trying to pull off her spaz attack, and wasn't expecting her to go completely spastic and throw the xbox.

Wait, so her over reaction is a regular spaz out, but his under reaction is perfectly normal because you can't understand why everything needs a big reaction? A regular person would have at least said WTF. It's not an overreaction, it's SOME reaction. Look at the 360, look at the floor she might have just damaged, even look at the camera we're supposed to believe he hooked up on the sly, knowing he just caught that shit on tape. No, he sits there like a friggen robot. And if that's what chicks are like in your town, you need to move. That whole "no sex for a month" part was cringe-worthy.

The three lying around my house have no such problem with the power cord, and neither do any of my friends. The clips on each side of the plug are designed to make it hard. But on top of that, it must have also had a loose AV or HDMI cable, and they couldn't have been online or else the network cable would sure as hell not be just coming out without any effort. You don't even see the cables, meaning they must have been pretty damn short, which in turn would have made SOMETHING else on that unit move. It was the biggest giveaway.

You were sold by a prop in front of the camera? If you watch much TV these day's, you'll notice that sticking shit in front of the camera (sometimes even blocking most the screen) is the new trendy thing to do. It's meant to make you feel like you're prying into the room, which it obviously convinced you of. Mission accomplished by them, but I didn't even notice it.

Not to mention her shitty acting.

What is with all these fake videos about girlfriends breaking consoles? There have been so many of them in the past few months. Very strange. At least use a hot girl in the video.
