Pick up ModNation Racers recently? A fan of LittleBigPlanet? (Who isn't?)

Punch this code into your PSN - 7RCP-JLB9-758H - and love EcoGamer that little bit more.

(For those of you who don't like surprises - click here)

Another code - 85T6-EMB6-HLL8 - was floating around the net earlier this week. For AU PSN accounts, the download from appears to work, but results in a distinct lack of sackboy in-game. Top code, however, has been confirmed (for AU PSN + AU MNR).

Well, if you do, I have all the EB pre-order downloads on my account if you want them. Kratos, Ratchet and Clank, Nate drake and 6 other random ones with vehicles. Grab it for cheaper elsewhere and whore them off me.

I'd get this in a flash, except it seems to be a very much online orientated affair and I'm not sure I can even get my PS3 on the net at the mo - haven't tried yet, but think my wireless would be decidedly sub-par anyway.

I'm thinking of getting either split/second or blur for a racing fix, but can't decide which...
yo listen up here's a story
about a little guy that lives in a blue world
and all day and all night and everything he sees
is just blue like him inside and outside
blue his house with a blue little window
and a blue corvette
and everything is blue for him and hisself
and everybody around
cos he ain't got nobody to listen to

i'm blue da ba dee da ba die...

Blue, I haven't played online yet. I'm just enjoying the story. The little cut scenes are sometimes funny... Reminds me of Days Of Thunder (a movie I actually liked, despite it's crapiness).

Yeah I have only played online once but there is so much other stuff to do you don't really need to go online. The only thing is you wouldn't be able to upload or download custom mods, karts and tracks.

Published my 2 favourite tracks if anyone wants a look, the up & down track is the best, and the other one doesnt have any flame pads, blockers or smashers in it, and some tricky corners.

Was really getting the shits with this game yesterday. Typical cheap ass, no fucking thought, typical kart game AI... You can be leading most the race and be royally fucked right in front of the finish line, but if you fall back too far, you have no chance of winning because the main guy magically gets 8 seconds ahead of 2nd place! If I wasn't so hooked on unlocking shit I'd be burying it for a long while.

Sega All-Stars shits on this game. If only it had more unlockables and Sega hadn't whored out their prized franchises so much previously that people just expect this to be crap.

Yeah, I've been finding that winning seems to be more about luck than skill.

Absolutely! The thing that really annoys me is that the rubber band AI is completely lopsided. Normally with AI like that it goes both ways. You can get smashed from the front of the pack and end up right at the back, but then getting back to the front isn't such an impossible task. In this game, if you don't make your way to front early on and stay there, you may as well restart. When you get your arse smashed and magically end up in last place, you've got no chance of winning it AT ALL!

This is what I love about Sega All-Stars. The rubber band AI is still present, but very loose. There are no friggen blue shell type weapons that deliberately hunt down the person in first place. The further back down the pack you are, the better your chance of picking up an All-Star power up. That's the thing that turns Sonic into Super Sonic and what not. They will help you move ahead in the pack for sure, but are by no means a guarantee of taking the lead. They just get you back into the mix and give you a chance. If you're actually racing well, they aren't a huge threat to you. It leans a bit more towards actually racing and not all the gimmick's.

Agree, but that said, the "drifting" is soooooo much fun. I've found that if I can link enough corners with a single drift (frequent enough) I can still get back into first after being knocked into near-last at the end of the 2nd last lap. But if I'm blown up any time after that I'm mostly screwed.

I haven't played in awhile because I am stuck on one track early on. I am always in front and then right at the end some idiot beats me by less than a second. I haven't bothered playing it again because it makes me frustrated. Also Wil stole my copy so we need to buy another one.

Is Sega All Stars cheap anywhere? I might pick that up. I didn't know kart racing games could be so fun.
