Last week for Bungie Day, Marathon was released for free on the iPad. Not sure if they're planning on eventually charging for it, but it's still free for thtose that don't have it.

Nope don't think they are, bungie said he could do it if he didn't charge. It's not too bad once you change shoot to tap.

You have to pay for the HD upgrade.

I've played marathon before, but for some reason on the iPad version I got stuck on the first level. Couldn't figure out where to go or rather how to get past a semi closed door, so gave up.
yo listen up here's a story
about a little guy that lives in a blue world
and all day and all night and everything he sees
is just blue like him inside and outside
blue his house with a blue little window
and a blue corvette
and everything is blue for him and hisself
and everybody around
cos he ain't got nobody to listen to

i'm blue da ba dee da ba die...

North is a small room with a switch that opens up a wall panel. Totally oldskool.

Deleted it because it still makes me crook. Had the same problem with the 360 version. This game and Wolfenstein 3D are the only two that do it to me. It's a shame because I'd really like to give it a go.

I once had the bright idea of playing Wolfenstein for as long as I can physically handle it. I reached 5 minutes and was throwing up with the worst migraine ever. Marathon doesn't hit me as bad, but I can play a minute or two and start to get those same feelings and can't bring myself to relive the horror.

I really don't know what it is. I thought originally it was a combination of the bright coloured walls mixed with the way it moves (no bob or anything), but then maybe I can handle Marathon a little bit better because they added the bob?
