I guess so.. Though I haven't pre-ordered anything yet so I may not even bother, could always get it on PC however for $49.
Or just find a free source of it and try it.

Not even sure how much it is retail wise in the store for the 360 / ps3 copy.

I am certainly going to wait for the opinions of everyone that does 7 day rent the game and then decide whether to bother buying, but now leaning towards PC if I get it at all.
can you read this?

Same as Martha. Will get opinions of others first and then most likely get on PC if I do bother getting it

Sometimes it's the buggy ones that are the most fun. They usually come from those developers with ideas that are a bit bigger than their skills or budget, and are made because they really want to make them. I always happily cop a few bugs for a game made with inspiration.

I have no idea, but I've always expected it to be anyway. It's scope is pretty ambitious.

The things that made me start question it were a) running zombies (an oxymoron as far as I'm concerned) and b) the main characters are unlikable yet again. I'm sticking with it and hoping the concept might still hold alot of merit, but my excitement has definitely dropped right off.

Its not that hard really, all they need to make is: 4 likable characters, open world environment, l4d gameplay with out a savage director, a mostly hidden upgrade system, upgradeable weapons that arnt stupid( who the fuck would use a spiked bat against zombies.

Give me 50 bucks and a can of red bull and i'll make it.

Ps i dont really drink red bull.

There's alot more going on in the back end for an openworld game. Alot of variables going on depending on how you approach everything. By no means overly difficult in this day and age, but this isn't a cutting edge dev team either. 4 likeable characters isn't too fucking hard though, and lumbering zombies on mass would surely be easier to program than what they've come up with?

Spiked bat is an interesting one. On one hand you have better brain penetration, but every chance the thing is going to get stuck there while you're surrounded.

Good question!

If we're talking blunt weapons then I would lean towards a solid cricket bat. I think their far better weighted for head trauma than the typical yankee baseball bat.

For more generally lethal weapons, I'd have to go the katana. As brutal as it is lightweight and fast. More zombie kills before I get a dead arm.

'Samurai' is ok if you know how to use it, but a couple of bad cuts and it'll break, also almost impossible to use in a hallway. Id prefer a ninja-to it shorter so more versatile in a tight areas and can be drawn from the back easier. Id probably go a large machete, lacks in length but makes it up in durability, in pretty functional in all ranges and can perform most of the jobs of a knife for general survival skills saving you from carrying both.

For blunt im going aluminum baseball bat, mainly for the durability but also for its high damage to weight ratio.

You wouldn't want any bladed weapon, would dull too quickly - even toledo or jap steel would start blunting after the first 100 zombs at most - and theres also the huge risk of the blade getting stuck. Stick with a good old fashioned medieval mace.
yo listen up here's a story
about a little guy that lives in a blue world
and all day and all night and everything he sees
is just blue like him inside and outside
blue his house with a blue little window
and a blue corvette
and everything is blue for him and hisself
and everybody around
cos he ain't got nobody to listen to

i'm blue da ba dee da ba die...
