That’s the claim that Keith Fuller, a long time production contractor for Activision, is making. Do you fall into the the 90% category? No, I’m not sure most of you do.

“What I’ve been told as a blanket expectation is that 90% of players who start your game will never see the end of it unless they watch a clip on YouTube.” - Keith Fuller, a longtime production contractor for Activision

While the number does seem suspiciously high, I have to admit to only completing 60-70% of the games I buy. Don’t blame me, blame Steam and it’s overly-tempting sales.

I admit, I don't finish a hell of alot. Depends on what part of the game I'm absorbed into, as sometimes the campaign has become the tacked on component of a multi focused game.

My main reason though would be the fact that a game just drags on too friggen long with bugger all happening, because anything less than 60 hours is unacceptable. I'd rather a solid 6 hours of non-stop action then dragging along to fill a quota anyday, especially if it's replayable.

Either that or you get multiple game releases and you move on from one to the other then get bored of the previous, I do that, at times I replay the game in my mind to see if I want to play it then think to myself that I can't be bothered as it got boring or i lost track of the story to go back and finish it -

e.g FarCry2 I played it quite far, moved onto a new game then thought about going back and forgot what I was doing in FC2 to want to bother getting reacquainted with it.

Though with some games they're too short so you either complain its too short or long and boring.

I like to finish most games I get which is why I tend to not grab the time consuming games.

That was the best thing about Alan Wake was the fact that every time you hoped back on it gave you recap of what's happened in a episodic way of 'Last time on Alan Wake.....'

Yeah a great feature. Also the well timed chapters stopped you from playing the game in 2 sittings.

The RTS bits are a piece of piss! I can't remember what it is, but there is one simple stratgy for each map, you can have em done in about 10 min max.

Yeah, it is. I figured if I was was going to buy a COD game then I may as well make sure I have people to play with.

I might hop on tonight for a game. I have the DLC with Call of the Dead in it and the latest zombie one. Been trying to play Moon, but geez you're open for a blind side caning in the corridor sections of that one.
