Fable: The Journey was announced by Lionhead at E3 as a Kinect-only title.

"Microsoft came to us and said, ‘Can you make a core game for Kinect?’ and we had been working on [Milo & Kate] for about a year – well over – so we had plenty of experience," Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux told NowGamer in a new interview.

"This is a challenge that is not for the faint-hearted, to be honest with you. The core are very tied to the controller, and I think what we need to do is to prove that you can have as full, immersive and comfortable games as anything you can have on the controller."

Fable: The Journey will see players travelling 300 miles across Ablion, with features including Kinect control over a horse and cart.

"One of my favourite things about Kinect is that it’s not as precise as a controller, but that makes sense. You’re on a horse – you can’t turn 180 degrees easily so there’s an element of realism about it and that realism will carry over to the horse," added the veteran developer.

Molyenux added that players will bond with their horse and decide how best to treat it - all via Kinect.

Oh piss off! Talk about towing the company line with a solid dollop of bullshit. I supposed he loved all those cheap ass light guns we've had for years because their lack of precision emulates the effect of the wind on the bullets and helps re-enact the many action movies were everyone shoots but no one hit shit?

That cool lasted him a long time mind you, and rightfully so. Those games are epic. Now he's just broken promises, babbling and bullshit.

No, not Black & White. I know you love them Blitz, but I wanted to play a god game and ended up playing with a giant Tamagotchi. Just more of his babbling that he doesn't deliver on.

I must admit, I've long thought mister molyneux a bit of a poser. His 16-bit games where good, but for a long time he's been all talk and poor delivery. He's a bit "emperors new clothes".
yo listen up here's a story
about a little guy that lives in a blue world
and all day and all night and everything he sees
is just blue like him inside and outside
blue his house with a blue little window
and a blue corvette
and everything is blue for him and hisself
and everybody around
cos he ain't got nobody to listen to

i'm blue da ba dee da ba die...
