What's exciting about this is it looks like they may have finally woken up and taken the Spider-man games back to an updated Spider-man 2. It's amazing how they went backwards from that game, since other than stupid baloon catching, it was Spidey brilliance.

I played the crap out of this over the weekend and was still feeling the motion of swinging through the city when I went to bed at night. Haven't had that since playing Spider-man 2, which should tell you something.

Is it perfect? No, there's still plenty of room for improvement, but it's a massive step in the right direction and one of the better movie licensed games I've played in a long time. Awesome pick up for the $58 that Big W is selling it for right now as part of their toy sale.

Warning though, the game came out a good week before the movie, but is based directly after it. It doesn't exactly throw spoilers clean in your face, but there's a few pearlers it gives away that aren't going to stun Marvel fans at all but the general public will be very suddenly aware of...

Bit strange doing it that way.

Very strange, and a bit of a shame. Still, the game was good enough for me to forgive it, and no Marvel fan was ever going to be stunned by the plot anyway. It's all about how much they manage to avoid butchering it.

I don't mind the spiderman games, is it out on the PC? (Liking my PC a lot more these days, especially seeing as I've almost finished getting my recording stuff set up)

I'm surprised no comment about bruce campbell being in it has showed up yet, even if he is only a guy in a blimp :P

The added Bruce definitely sealed the deal. It was never going to surpass Spidey 2 without the Bruce.
