Arthur Morgan grew up in an orphanage, stranger to everyone but the children he rarely interacted with. Facing harsh conditions in the nearly rundown orphanage, he was eventually kicked out at the age of eighteen. Life hadn't gone any better for him afterward and lived in poverty, leading him to a life of theft to survive. For the next few years, he had been a thief, quick on his feet and silent with his hands, although sometimes barely escaping the grasp of the authorities. His life of thievery had ended when the Great War plagued Europe and was enlisted in the army, sent away to France. The years fighting endlessly had broken Arthur, and turned him into a shell of his former self, leaving him a disgruntled, hardened man. When he returned, he only came about his former life and returned to poverty. For the next few months, he had been on the streets and desperately seeking shelter during the nights, until he had enough of this damning life in his country after dedicating himself to it on the battlefield. He had turned to a nearby gang, and took a position amongst them, evidently improving his quality of life. Arthur continues to work in the gang, and has not seen a bad day since joining it.
