I Finally have a Wii which is SO awsome!!! I have the game Mario Party 8! Is there any other games out there that I should try out? Besides Mario Party 8 or Wii Sports.

That's great, let me just tell you one thing, never buy Mario Strikers Charged. I think it's hard, and I new it wasn't worth buying. I'm lucky I rented that game. I also think that Mario Strikers Charged isn't that fun.

To be honest I can't suggest that many games since not many of the games on there interest me that I have. If you're talking about Mario games I'd suggest Super Paper Mario and Super Mario Galaxy.

Super Paper Mario's system is similar to a classic Mario platform game except you can switch into 3D and learn different skills. But it also includes that RPG element. Although the game is overall really easy, I still found it to be a fun and hilarious game.

Super Mario Galaxy is similar to Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine. You collect stars as you would in those other two. The worlds are space-themed, so it's really dynamic. It's a really straight forward game. As with SPM, I found it easy but fun.

Wheras I found it easy and fun - and I HATE football :P

The choices I would say are:
Mario Galaxy (a must for Wii owners)
Super Paper Mario (Just like the Cube's version, 2 and 3d action)

I personally love:
Trauma Centre
Tomb Raider anniversary

Didn't like Mario and Sonic at the olympic games much though...

From a personal point of view, recommending you some titles will really depend on the genre and content that you wish to play. With that said, I will compose a list of titles that you should at least rent and try out for yourself.

Super Mario Galaxy: This is an obvious gimmie, but there is no denying the incredible quality of this title. Whilst the title is on the easier side for gaming veterans, it is an enjoyable blast to play from start to finish. Fantastic soundtrack, excellent implementation of Wiimote functionality, stunning graphics, and above all, pure hearted platforming bliss.

Metroid Prime 3: Not to be clichéd with Nintendo's big hit titles, but this maybe worth investing time into. The genre of exploration adventure is somewhat niche and isn't everyone's cup of tea, but there is a lot of hidden depth, puzzle solving, and even a larger focus on action orientated segments. Excellent use of the pointing functionality and control scheme, and is an entertaining bout whilst it lasts. The "Achievements" system is a nice touch as well.

Sonic and the Secret Rings: Having never played a Sonic game in my life due to a sheer lack of interest, The Secret Rings was a surprise gem during the quiet days of the Wii's first year. Whilst critics gave the game mixed reaction, most can agree that this title sets Sonic on the right path after his recent outings proving more and more disappointing. Gameplay style feels more rescriminent of old school Sonic games in keeping Sonic to a fixed pathway, whilst a Level up system grants Sonic new abilities and skills as you progress through the game. Has a few control and cinematic issues, along with a rather slow start to the game but really picks up after the first few levels. Worth a try at the very least.

Zack & Wiki: Capcom's Point and Click adventure that has been praised by reviewers all around, but flopped due to poor retailer perception. Personally can't comment on the game itself due to no release in PAL territories, but apparently manages to combine mini game systems into a amazingly fun and addictive game. Another game at least worth trying out.

Mario Strikers Charged (Football): After the mediocre Gamecube title, MSC outperforms its predecessor and improves upon it in virtually every regard to a very high standard, establishing itself as one of the most enjoyable multiplayer experiences on the Wii outside of party games. Single player lacks longevity, but it is the multiplayer, both offline and online, that really shines. A surprising level of depth to the game, along with an increased Marioverse feel will have your friends electrocuting, frying, tackling and blowing up opponents for no good reason other than insane, wacky fun.

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles: A great game for fans of the often forgotten genre of on-rail shooters, this title boasts spit and polish along with a moderate difficulty level. Probably better to avoid if you don't like tougher games, or the genre/series itself.

Warioware: Smooth Moves: Whilst you seem to have Mario Party 8 as your primary party starter, you can't really go wrong with Warioware if you have friends or family interested in the Wii. Providing people don't get embarrassed looking like complete loons playing this game, this is a true blast to play which really emphasises the strength of social gaming. Not a very strong title as a Single Player affair though...

So you got Mario Scam 8...well, i recommend you Wario Smooth Moves, it's fun and you can exercise while playing, also, Galaxy and Twilight Princess are a must have, that, if you like to think...also, Pokemon BR and Boogie are cool.

Don't hesitate in buying RE TUC!!

Congrats on being among those who have a Wii, spookygirl.

As for recommended games, all i can give you on that department is simply Super Mario Galaxy. This game should be added in your collection, because of the many galaxies to travel in this one.

Also, if you're not too late, you should pre-order Super Smash Bros. Brawl, because when it comes out on February 10th, everybody would want to play against each other online.

Don't buy Cooking Mama! I rented it, and within 10 mins of opening it, it was back in the box on its way back, was so disappointed at how poor the game was :(
