Here are a few pictures of my most recently completed map. Inspired by the Halo series which blends ancient and modern techologies together in symbiosis. I went for an Egyptian theme with the old technology, and attempted to envision what a high tech version of this architecture would look like. Sorry for the screen maximization!![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks. I know that Unreal Championship 2 went to town on the theme, but I made my version darker so it wouldn't be so similar.

Awesome designs. What program do you use? The detail on the Egyptian art is amazing. The darkness really ads to the feel of the scene but you definitely know where you're going. Are there any hidden tomb or places to snipe. When I see this I actually think of the Egyptian scene from Crash Bandicoot 3. Weird, huh. |

Truly amazing! Egiptyan architecture was great, i wonder if you'll add technology similar to the mirrors they used to illuminate rooms or activate mechanism. Well, in this futuristic case, you'd have to create a solar panel technology device. |

I use the good ol' UnrealEd, which came out in 2000. Thanks for the comments! Yeah, I like darker maps, it makes things so tense and atmospheric, Quite a few of my maps are set at night because of this. There's actually a sniping place in the middle at the top of the map, which looks out over the chamber. PD: Yes, it's a good thought, mentioning the mirrors which are used to light the rooms in Egyptian architecure. It seems that even back then, the Egyptians were a technologically advanced civilization, so it feels apt to envision a future environment based on their style of buildings. |

A High-tech egyption temple...somehow, the two themes works really well. Good job; what's it for? |
