Also, does this not affect... maps? Or... ragdolls? I feel like I'm making one of those commercials... "Can you tell which one is using picmip -10 and which one is using picmip -1? If you can't tell, we won't! Maybe in TF2 it'll be better. But, unlike Youtube HD, there really is no difference to me... I like referencing things. Can you tell? EDIT: Tried it in TF2.... Nope... However, the EP2 guys, Like Alyx, Gman, And that old dude, are hi res when using -10.

I must already have such good graphics (not intentional bragging) that it doesn't change it. I bet that this is more so for people with older computers that want a nicer quality that the Options won't allow. I mean, Steam scans your computer when you first install for a reason, you know.
