### Chat Capture: General 10/09 07:08 PM ### Khalddoon walks into the inn, head held high, gaze roaming lazily around the inn. Seeing the group at a table, the faintest of smirks twists his lips. Taking a few long steps forward, he says in a deep voice, "Evening, all..." Zirana 's lips curl up into a smirk and she turns to face Khal. "Hello, Pet. Nice of you to join us here." Helgrimric quirks a brow at the new face. "And who the hell is here now?" Eadrigir eyes the new man without much care, silent in his vigilance. Khalddoon tilts his head a fraction, regarding Helgrimic through slightly narrowed eyes. "Very forward you are. I see..." he inclines his head a fraction. "I am Khaldoon." Helgrimric repeats the name in a mocking tone. "Khaldoon, Khaldoon, Khaldoon." He closes some distance between the two and looks between him and Zirana. "You two know each other, yes?" Eadrigir takes a step forward as well, studying the new mans face and placing the name with it. Zirana turns her head slightly, her black eyes drifting towards Helgrimic. "Yes, we know each other, but it is not important how..." Helgrimric says, 'You act like I care how; as long as he is not a hopeless suitor who stuck his nose in the wrong place by walking down here. I do hope that isn't the case.' Khalddoon hardens his gaze at Helgrimic's approach, the small smirk still playing across his lips. He almost appears to be looking down on him. His smile widens only slightly, to that of a wolf's. "I fail to think of a way I can prove it, your hopping from one shadow to the next, as it were." Zirana snorts softly and rolls her eyes, then flashes a dazzling smile to Khal. "A Suitor? Hmm...now there's a thought..." she says softly, her eyes glittering with amusement. Helgrimric rolls his eyes at Zirana, then looks back to Khalddoon. "Go ahead and explain yourself then. Are you this snakes new master, perhaps?" He looks to Zirana again, then chuckles. Eadrigir heads toward the door, stopping half way and turning to stand behind the new man. He cared not if it was noticed. Zirana snaps her head around to glare at Helgimic, her eyes narrowing slightly. "I have no master, fool." Khalddoon snorts softly, amused by Zirana's reaction. "Putting a leash on a snake is difficult. Let's call it a mutual relationship." He pauses, then says with an edge to his tone, "And tell your stray behind me that if I wanted to leave, I would. This pretense of a guard is foolish." Zirana chuckles softly at Khal description of her. Stepping back, she watches and waits, biding her time and watching the others intently. Helgrimric grins at the rise he got out of Zirana, then responds to Khal. "I see. My brother will do as he pleases, he is by no means my stray." He turns and sits down, gesturing to the seat across from him. "Take a seat. We didn't exactly invite you but I suppose we can make an exception, since you know the snake." Eadrigir smirks slightly, but doesn't move. If anything, Hel was his stray. Khalddoon inclines his head and obliges, taking a seat across from Helgrimic. Zirana raises a brow at Hel, calling her a snake. She gracefully steps towards the table, her curvy hips swaying gently as she walks. Helgrimric motions to the barkeep to get them all drinks. After the woman puts a round of ale around for everyone at the table, she scurries off to the back room to hide. "So, what brings you to these lands, Haradrim?"Khalddoon chuckles ever so slightly, as if amused by the question. "Family matters..." he replies. Zirana smirks at Khal's answer, watching Hel. Helgrimric nods slowly, taking a gulp from his mug as he looks to Zirana, then back to Khal. "And do tell how you came to be in a league with this glorified whore?" Khalddoon takes his mug, regarding the contents inside before taking a sip. "Chance meeting." Zirana 's cheek twitches at being called a glorified whore, but gives no reaction beyond that. She would bide her time and make her plans. Eyeing Hel over the rim of her cup, she sips slowly. Helgrimric nods a few times once more. "And a final question; why are you in our inn tonight? I invited the snake and another fellow, but not you. What brought you here?" Khalddoon chuckles deeply. "'Your' inn, so possessive. Let's just say that this viper is not as subtle as she wishes to be...and look at the game I've found now." He leers a bit, sitting back on his stool. "Another to add." Zirana smirks faintly. She had led him here on purpose, but was not about to let him know that. She wished to keep all her games running and the idea of mixing them was fascinating. Helgrimric raises his mug to his mouth for a drink, ever-eyeing them over the rim of the cup. "That is because this inn is ours, essentially." He looks up at Zirana and rolls his eyes. "So, do tell me where the former fellow is. Why, he is all left out of tonights meeting." Zirana shrugs, giving Hel a wide smile. "Am I the grey one's keeper now? I assume he has business..." Helgrimric shrugs, not satisfied with that answer. "I figured you would have some sort of idea. Oh well." He takes another large gulp from his mug, finishing it off and setting it down on the table. "So, what was that conversation that got us all together about again?" He asks, though it was more of a comment to him. He remembered, but he would allow the snake to bring it up. Zirana lifts a brow at Hel and asks, "We have only spoken a few times...but the Gray fellow has other business aquaintences and endeavors. I would not presume to know them." She looks to Khal for a moment, then says, "I believe our last topic of discussion was the ever-growing shadow creeping over Gondor." Khalddoon takes another slow draught of his ale, consenting himself with listening. |
