Am I the onyl person here who thinks that Paul McGann's character should return for the 4th series of this brilliant little show? I think his dynamic with Douglas was great. He was acted superbly by McGann and I'm really interested to know more about him. Failing a reutnr in the next series, maybe even a spin-off for him? |

Generally very sympathetic to beloni
|
Mmm. Only incidently perhaps, every now and then, but not too often. I didn't really like this character. |

Well, everyone knows who I'd really like to return for series 4... But.... meh... I dont know really, I didnt like his whole 'I can move from one place to another with in seconds' . (What's that called again?) thing. It was a little too sci fi for me, I still take SoS as a more serious show so it didnt really gell for me. |

I'd like to see another conversation between him in Douglas if that's what you mean, but I wouldnt want him as a major character. |

What happend to the guy with the white hair from series 2, he was in a few episodes and I think he was higher up than Douglas because I remember Douglas saying to him "Are you pulling rank on me?" when he wouldnt go and see 'the vegetables guy' aka Findlay Morrison They seemed really friendly though. |

what I don't understand is hopw the show can get such amazing guest stars like this, and John Hannah and Siobhan Redmond, and yet it didn't really make much of an impact. |

Do you mean the famous guest stars didn't make enough of an impact on the show or the show itself didn't? I agree with the latter... |

Well, it was a BBC Scotland show and there was little advertising for it. No hype. |

yeah but... it was ON bbc England as well, but I agree most people never heard about it because there was no hype. I love it, even the not so good parts about it, but to me it's not like other beeb or itv shows like Afterlife or Torchwood are better or anything. They all pretty much share the same faults. |

I don't understand why so many people think Paul McGann's character = the show going totally sci fi. How was he any different from John Hannah's psychic healing character back in series 2??? |

Well... there is a bit of a difference between possibly healing a little girl (since it was unproven, though heavily hinted at), and err.... teleporting! |
