Since series 3 is being watched again by a lot of members through Veoh TV, I was wondering what, two years on, everybody thinks of it? Personally, I'm surprised I still like it as much as I did back then, I really thought I'd watch it again and be disappointed (I had that a tiny bit when I bought the series 2 DVD) but I'm pleased to say, from what I've seen so far, I like it just as much! That's not to say it doesn't have its problems still, but... I'll leave you all to discuss that! xD |

Still absolutely incredible. It's refreshing to watch it again as there are bits that I'd forgotten/become distant memory in this SOS cold turkeyness. I think the only thing that's really disappointing with it is the lack of further series with Dawn and Iain, the way their story was just dropped and forgotten. Most frustrating. |

Very true. What was the point of Justine's son having abilities if they never ever mentioned it again? I've only seen Insiders so far (courtesy of above poster! ) but it is basically as good as I remember. I think perhaps a little cheesier than I remember. But still very good. Best drama Scotland's made in ages, that's for sure!

I had forgotten how funny Sea of Souls was at times, and how scary. Not that it's really scary, but I didn't remember the creepier parts, like in Sleeper. |

So many possibilities! ![]() They did sort of run that on to the lame excuse for a 4th series though, didn't they? He wasn't a sceptic. |

Generally very sympathetic to beloni
|
didn't he embrace the possibility of magic? Obviously he is still a scientist, so he needs to be objective with every new case. I don't see why it can't go hand-in-hand being a sceptic and recognizing there might be a possibility of truth in every new case. So bring on a new series! |

lol, yeah, my recollection of the show is apparently far more dramatic. With Douglas going: OMG HAI, I NOW BELIEVE IN MAGIC!!!!! Even when I've just rewatched it all I still can't remember it right LOL |

LOL! It's... scarily easy to imagine Douglas saying that...! Anyway, having rewatched series 3, I have to say I'm just as impressed as when I first saw it - if not more so, since, as many people have said already, you forget how witty and good it was. It just makes the fact it's not been brought back even more annoying Because it's not even like it was just a show of its time that you look back on and cringe.

Agreed! Rewatching a couple of series 1 Doctor Who episodes (Eccleston days) . Later than SoS, had more money thrown at it and there were bits that made me cringe effects wise. |
