I see Bill's character as supporting rather than starring, which pains me to realise but maybe I'm wrong.I'd say James Steel + Alesha Phillips, and Ronnie Brooks + Matt Devlin are the leads, with the other two supporting. agree that the opening music and titles suck big time, who made them?! So rubbish, reminds me of the kind of fan made opening titles you get on Youtube. Like, Lost to the theme music of Charmed and stuff

So what did everyone think of the latest episode? It nearly made me cry! Gosh, it was a sad one! And it featured a little bit more of Bill! From the way he said "Remember I'm a father too", followed by the looks James and Alesha gave each other.... is that meant to hint that something's going on there? Maybe he had a child that died and was reminding James of that? |

even better again, loved the last episode, and was too intrigued by Castle's (Bill's) line about being a father, remember. Rehash of Douglas' dead child storyline? j/khope we get more on that, but he could just have meant 'remember I know what it's like too, don't get ahead of yourself', rather than 'don't forget I once had a child'. |

Bit more of Bill! But not much ![]() still love Bradley Walsh, and the James Steel character. Anyone else find it hard remembering most of their character names? I don't know BW's character's name unless I look it up, I know Jamie Bamber's is called Matt, and there's Alesha, and Bill is George... but I still don't feel like, all these episodes in now, we have that much of a sense of the characters. y'know? |

I cried at that last episode, and I never cry But stories about little kids like that always get to me, poor Tommy and whatever his childhood friend's name was, the depth of pain and horror she portrayed at her father's attitude and cruelty was impeccable and completely believable. One thing that did bother me was that.... she really didn't look in her 30's!!!! Neither did her dad look in his 60's! And I'm sorry, but at 60 you're not 'frail' at all. My grandpa was in his 80's when he brought me up, that's frail. My dad was in his 60's still playing football with my little stepbrother when he was in his tweens. I know a lot of people retire at that age, but the majority (of men at least) are still working. |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the opening credits suck , they really don't fit with the atmosphere of the rest of the show. I mean, the music is like it's going to be the new 24 or Alias! And, yeah, just jumping into the discussion, my dad was frail at 60 too, but he'd been ill for a while which contributed. My mum on the other hand doesn't seem like she's in the same age group! It's weird. |

Another good episode, that was. But the weirdly 'young' age of that woman took me right out of the story. In her 30's? I think not! Early 40's at the least. And on the note of nit picking, my brother had EMDR therapy and that is not how it works! It's not magic! |

Oh, erm, I'm not actually sure? I'm pretty sure other ITV series will be on dvd and maybe you can look up their available regions? I'm quite clueless about the subject, sorry I can't be of more help She was a very attractive lady, but she did look.... hardly any younger than Tommy's mother! Script error, maybe? |

Or BSG
Hehe, my mum has done a course on that method and she was really annoyed about how they portrayed it! |

lol, Craigfan! It is a bit like BSG... or how you'd imagine BSG's credits would be, since they actually have really calm, soft opening music though. I love their theme. Anyhow, new episode tonight!! Wheeee!

Nora! Check out a topic full of links to watching the episodes online, GoneForever just posted it yesterday. Hope you enjoy! ![]() I haven't seen the latest episode yet, but will do and I'll be sure to post what I thought, here. Was it a good one? More Bill Paterson? |

A bit more of Bill ![]() I'm rather adoring Ben Daniels, but I sometimes wish they'd share the airtime out amongst the other characters, like Bradley Walsh. Daniels seems to be the emotionally closest to each case every week. Another interesting storyline this week, has anyone happened to catch the original American versions of these episodes? How similar are they? |

Frabjabulous!

I've posted the synopsis for the next episode at the start of the thread, looks like an Alesha centric? Or perhaps it'll morph into the James Steel show again I don't particularly mind, he's an interesting character and a very good character, but he does seem to get more coverage and personal development than the others.Who knows, perhaps it isn't intended. |
