Nike has been very aggressive with new iterations of the classic Nike Blazer Mid Print Sale. Exploring varied prints as exhibited with the “Safari Collection,” while those are great, nothing beats a simplistic colorway over a clean rubber outer. Nike offers that in spades with the latest red suede rendition. Perfect for pairing with a wool overcoat, trench coat, selvedge denim or even chinos, the vintage treated suede upper in red is offset by contrasting white Swoosh branding and a matching heel counter. Certainly nothing groundbreaking in terms of coloring or material usage, but that’s also the reason this pair is so great. The Nike Blazer Mid Print Clearance “Floral City Pack” will release on May 31st, 2014. The tie in to each of the associated cities actually runs deeper than just a quick script hit on the back side. Chicago’s pair has a chrysanthemums print as an ode to the official flower of the Windy City, the LA’s bird’s of paradise approach is meant to represent the always-sunny nature of that spot, and the NYC dandelion drop apparently has to do with the “wishful thinking and the quick pace” of life in city. There’s no question that two of the most coveted trends in sneakers today is the use of camouflage print on the upper and lime green (or in Nike’s case, ‘Volt’) coloring to grab people’s attention. So it comes as no surprise that Nike would pair the two eventually, and they did so using the classic Nike Blazer Mid Print Purchase as the canvas with the release of the ’77 PRM VNTG “Camo”. While last week’s ‘Red Camo’ Blazer kept the upper simple, today we see a brown-based tiger-camo take center stage – the same camo detailing seen in the Nike Vandal High PRM VNTG. The Nike Blazer Mid Print Online resurgence has been well documented thanks to pairs like that Tonal Suede Pack featuring a luxe leather lining and the head turning panels of the ‘Quilt’ aesthetic. The Blazer’s year has been characterized by two extremes – the he retro has either arrived in a subtle look to focus on the materials or has strayed away from traditionalism to bring us prints and patterns galore. Joining the Lunar Force 1 High with a cheetah-spotted colorway is another Nike Sportswear classic hoop shoe that’s had just a few minor alterations. The Cheap Nike Blazer Mid Print doubles up on the feline markings it shares with the aforementioned LF1, covering the whole upper with grey sports on a black field. It looked like the bright blue accents these styles share in common would be the standout feature, but in the Blazer’s color code, we see the use of Reflective Silver that suggests the leopard print might be even more expressive than we thought.
