CM Storm19

Well, I bought it for the PS2 since my 360 isn't working, and I have to say that it is really fun. Of course, it's missing a lot. Speaking from the PS2:

- There is no CAW mode so... yeah.

- The constant overselling of superstars doesn't bother me, but when the heavier superstars oversell, then you know something’s wrong.

- The wrestlers don’t stay on the floor longer than 2 seconds (Unless they have that spinny analog thingy). That REALLY annoys me.

- There is no downloadable content.

- Way too many story line jobbers. I want real wrestlers to unlock.

- Small roster.

- The only weapons in the game are chairs.

- Every superstar has almost the same moveset.

- Annoying grunting noises.

- Having the wrestler’s theme songs playing in the background isn't that bad. But I'd rather have real music.

- Having the iMPACT! Zone introduced before every match is also really annoying.

- The commentary is god awful.

- Why is Jeremy Borash the ring announcer?

- Some obvious glitches.

- No online play.

- No championship matches.

- Lack of moves. (Namely submissions)

- Lack of match types.

- Only 2 player multiplayer.

What I do like about it is:

- Even if it is with one other person, multi player is fun.

- It feels like a hybrid of both a fighting and a wrestling game, which I personally love.

- The Ultimate X match is hella fun. It's at its best with another person. But the best feel for the match is with 2 people and 1 computer in free for all.

- Every match is no count out and no dq. That's how I've been playing wrestling games since WM2K.

- The graphics are the best in any wrestling game by far. (Any console really).

- The story may be a tad corny, but I love how they make wrestling a life or death kind of sport. Like how LAX beats you down to near death when you decide to not throw the match and win the belt.

- The arenas. You can fight in places around the world. And it's not the same crowd. In Mexico, there are Mexicans... and chickens. But in the armoury, there are army people. Very realistic.

- I got a free TNA DVD with my purchase from EB Games. Score!

Overall, I give the PS2 version a 5.5 out of 10.

... Even death may die...

It's good, but it's forgetable (is that a word?)

I don't have it, but I've played it, and I'm downloading it at this moment.

We knew that this game was going to lack some things, but seriously, this game feels lika a Demo!!!

The problem with the CAWs is something that is beyond me, they said that is because PS2 limitations.... but when I played Wrestle Kingdom 2 ( :P ) I said "What limitations???" WK2 have awesome graphics and a great CAW mode, they look like in game wreslters, and not painted on like the SVR CAWs.

But at least We have Suicide X, AJ Styles X and Chris Sabin X :P

I give the PS2 version a 6 out of 10

holy crap, let me tell you my story

When i first played a match, it felt really slow and boring, then i started the career mode, it was pretty cool when i mastered the normal match, but then, oh God, the tag team matches, that really killed the game for me, i always had lucky wins because of the chairs. I didn't played the game for like 2 weeks, then everybody tells me that the ultimate x match is really fun, so i tried it and i sucked, which means i didn't like it. Then i watched the tutorials, played it again, and OMG, TNA IMPACT ROCKS!!!!. I beat every single match in career mode and it felt great. I started playing a lot of ultimate x matches with my favorite wrestlers Abyss and Sting. After i mastered the Ultimate X match i wanted more challenge, but it's just too damn easy and i wish for a bigger challenge.
