The Undertaker 21-0 and Undefeated at Wrestlemania

WWE announced today that they have released SmackDown! star Brandon Silvestry (Kaval), winner of Season 2 of NXT. The company posted this on their website:

"World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of WWE Smackdown Superstar Kaval (Brandon Silvestry) as of today, December 23, 2010. We wish Kaval the best in all future endeavors."

Jim Ross reacted to the release on Twitter, saying:

"Kaval's release from WWE surprised me. Don't know the circumstances. Kaval won't have any issues finding work. I wish him my best."

NO

bye Kaval and welcome back to Indy world Low Ki :D

stupid WWE!

- The word in WWE is that Kaval (known as Low Ki on the independents circuit) was released because the company didn't have any plans for him, and as such it was an amicable departure by the winner of NXT Season 2.

It's unlikely Kaval will be working for any nationally televised companies any time soon due to the typical 90 day no-compete clause.

The high flyer was signed by World Wrestling Entertainment in 2008 and spent a lot of time in WWE developemental before he was brought up to NXT.
wow, they had plans for Alex Riley,Husky Harris,Micheal Mcgullicuty but not Kaval.

He did. He used it against Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship but lost.

It's not the worker's fault that the WWE product is declining. It's declining because the writing is shit. The only storyline that was worth watching was Nexus, then Cena squashed them and that went to shit.

exactly their was so much potential for Kaval but the WWE decided to shit his character with horrible writing. I would've payed to see Rey Mysterio face Kaval.

Below are various Twitter reactions to Kaval’s release from World Wrestling Entertainment Thursday:

John Cena: “CeNation. Behind as always. I guess wwe has released kaval. I have no clue why but this close to holiday would probally mean……. That it is pretty serious business.”

Jim Ross: “Kaval’s release from WWE surprised me. Don’t know the circumstances. Kaval won’t have any issues finding work. I wish him my best.”

Jeremy Borash: “Very grateful to be working for a company that gives out bonus checks at Christmas instead of walking papers.”

Shelton Benjamin: “I guess my question is would you rather see him as a jobber for Wwe or the Indy phenom that he had been.”

Gregory Helms: “U gotta be f***ing kidding!!!”

Charlie Haas also took to Twitter to comment on Kaval’s release from WWE today, calling the organization ‘classless’. He wrote: “Sorry to hear the news of Kaval being released. Especially before Christmas. What a gift. Shows how classless WWE is. Low Ki ur better off … Anyways. Kaval is one of the best talents in the world. No doubt he will prevail else where. Much respect and love for him.”

He's in FCW, which means he's in WWE. And I watched him on NXT and in FCW. I can say that in the first (NXT) he was terrible as Otunga.

Let me be the first to speculate , as seen by the Daniel Bryan the wwe saw how this led to him becoming very over. Kavals twitter post was really similar to daniel bryans. Im saying this is a work. The wwe doesnt fire one wrestler when they dont have plans, they fire a bunch. The 2 reasons that make sense are he asked for his release or some shit happened backstage or its a work

I can't find an answer for myself for this question: Hawkins and Archer had only a month contract with WWE. The contacd expired. Archer got fired but Hawkins is still in the company. Why?
