Battles Congratulations! you've all been promoted! Each man gets a thousand men to play with at the beginning of the migration. Yes 1000 Now what this means is, you get 1000 men per battle, unless said otherwise. After each tactic post, you will then roll to the nearest hundred, rounding down. So if you're on your 3rd tactic post for the battle and you have 732 men, you will roll 7 d100. The reason for this is so that you have a few men to escape with, if shit gets hairy. The storyteller will also roll down to the nearest 100 from his thousand... or more that are facing your men. Whoever gets below 100 first loses the battle. There will be a posting order in this as well. This will be determined by the roll of a die at the beginning of the battle. Now this isn't quite straight forward... Here's the catch. There is a modifier if you do certain things. Flanking the enemy will lose the enemy 2d100 worth of men. Catching him by surprise will lose him 5d100. How do you catch him unawares? Well that's a gamble! You see, if you want to catch him unawares, you have to roll a d4, Odds you win , tails, you fail and lose 300 men for the duration of the battle because you suck. You decide whether or not its worth it. Weather run The weather run will go as follows. every half hour there will be a roll to determine how far ahead of the snow you are. The lower the roll, the closer it is to the HEAD of the caravan! So pay attention, because if the roll is a 1, that means that most of the caravan is in the snowstorm! Turia Turia will be special... and a little bit of a pain in the ass... you get 5000 men each to play with. Otherwise it's all the same. After each battle we will decide loot by a dice roll based on gold coin Kataii- 2d1000 Kassar- 4d1000 Tuchuk-6d1000 Turia-20d1000 Loot will be divided accordingly Ubar 1/10 Commander 1/1000 and theoretical outriders hehe 1/10000 |
