Even though this chapter was very short, I thought it was so lovely. I think my favorite quote from this book so far is "She spoke no word; but being filled with love Elwë came to her and took her hand, and straightway a spell was laid on him, so that they stood thus while long years were measured by the wheeling stars above them; and the trees of Nan Elmoth grew tall and dark before they spoke any word." I just loved that!

I didn't really have any trouble with this chapter, which was nice after how difficult the last one was for me to get through.

This chapter was only one page, so at first I didn't take any notes, but then I went back and wrote down quick little descriptions of Thingol and Melian.

This chapter was very short and sweet. I'll admit here that I'm a bit lost with all the names and all the characters, it was worse in the previous chapter but it still is a bit hard x)

I always see people on Tumblr liking Feanor or Maedhros and I can't even separate who's who yet, I hope it comes easier...

Hey, guys, I'm sorry I'm not so present here but my PhD argumentation is in one week and I'm freaking out instead of reading but I'll catch up soon.
And Marian Maedhros is the oldest son of Fëanor. You'll get them all soon. :arwen:

I was particularly interested in this chapter because it talked about Legolas' and Beleg's people. Kind of disappointed about how short it was, though. The names were hard for me to follow when I first read it but I got the hang of it after a while - it becomes more pleasant the further you go!

Yeah, it seems like everyone on Tumblr has something for Fëanor or Fingolfin. And yep, Fëanor had seven sons, so there are a couple more names coming your way!
