Posts: 9 Group: Members Member #31 Joined: April 6, 2008	FT Island Topped No. 1 in Japan's Tower Records World Section FT Island's very first Japanese album was very well-received on its first few days of release. FT Island's new released mini album "Prologue of FTIsland -soyogi-" which was released on 7th this month, obtained No. 1 in the world section weekly ranking chart. They also got first in the Best Seller Chart. Though FT Island is not engaged in any full large scale promotion, they had already obtained such good result, which is quite uncommon in Japan. FT Island held their in-store live event at Shibuya's Tower Records on the 9th, singing songs like "Friendship" and "Soyogi" etc mostly Japanese songs from their mini album and they received lots of attention and support from the crowd. FT Island members said that, "After seeing some of the famous Japanese rock bands' performance, like Bump of Chicken and Remioromen, we are now standing on the same live stage as a newcomer. We will work harder to be a better band." Debuting as an artiste and not as a star, the path that FT Island had chosen might be tough and we're looking forward to what they are going to show us in the future.
