"They don't speak English, and we don't speak German, but music transcends language."In between performances, the choir visited Berlin and Wittenberg, where Martin Luther sparked the Protestant Reformation by nailing his 95 theses to the door of All Saints' Church.Knutson said visiting Berlin was a surreal experience he never thought he would have."I never thought I would see that part of the world because of the Iron Curtain. All you see now is a line in the street where the Berlin Wall was," he said.
